Aloo Methi

For Aloo Methi

Ingredients –

  1. Methi leaves -500 gms
  2. Potato – 4-5 medium (chopped)
  3. Hing – 1 pinch
  4. Haldi powder – ½ tsp
  5. Salt –  according to taste
  6. Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
  7. Oil –  2-3 tsp

Method –

Firstly, wash methi leaves properly and chop it finely. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan and add hing in to it. Now add chopped potato pieces and methi leaves in to it. Let it cook for some time and stir occasionally so that it does not stick to the pan. Once potatoes seems to half cooked, add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well. Now cover the aloo methi with a lid until get cooked properly.  Once it get cooked, cook it again uncovered for 2-3 minutes and it is ready to serve now.

Serving Tip –

Serve Aloo Methi with hot chapattis.
