Carrot Lentil Soup

For Carrot Lentil Soup

Ingredients –

  1. Carrot – 3 large (chopped)
  2. Moong Dal (Dhuli or Chilka) – 4-5 tsp
  3. Onions – 1 medium (chopped)
  4. Garlic and Ginger paste – ½ tsp
  5. Water – 4-5 Cups
  6. Coriander – 2-3 tsp (chopped)
  7. Oil – 2-3 tsp
  8. Salt – according to taste
  9. Pepper – according to taste

Method –

  1. Take some oil in a pressure cooker and add ginger garlic paste and chopped onions to it.
  2. Saute it until it turn golden brown in colour.
  3. Now sometime add carrots, dal, water, salt and pepper in to it.
  4. Allow it to take 4-5 whistles and let it release the pressure on its own.
  5. Blend the mixture in to smooth mixture.
  6. Garnish the soup with chopped coriander leaves.
  7. Carrot Lentil soup is ready to serve.

Serving Tip –

Enjoy Carrot Lentil Soup with toasted bread for better taste.
