Curd Rice

For Curd Rice

Ingredients –

  1. Cooked Rice – 1 Cup
  2. Yogurt – 2 Cup
  3. Mustard Seeds – ½ tsp
  4. Curry Leaves – few leaves
  5. Milk – ½ Cup
  6. Urad Dal – ½ tsp
  7. Dry Red Chilli Flakes – 2-3
  8. Chana dal – ½ tsp
  9. Ginger – 1 tsp (finely grated)
  10. Oil – 2-3 tsp
  11. Salt – according to taste
  12. Coriander leaves – 1 ½ tsp (washed and chopped)

Method –

  1. In a non- stick pan, heat some oil and add mustard seeds and curry leaves to it. Once it start to crackle add chana dal and urad dal to it.
  2. Stir it continuously for almost a minute and add red chilli flakes and ginger to it.
  3. Saute them continuously for a minute and remove it from the flame.
  4. Now add cooked rice to it and mix it properly.
  5. Mix curd and milk as well to the rice and garnish it with coriander leaves.
  6. Curd Rice is ready to serve now.

Serving Tip –

refrigerate it for an hour and enjoy curd rice during your meals time.
