Honey Chilli Potato
For Honey Chilli Potato –
- Potato – 4-5 medium
- Maida – 2 ½ tsp
- Oil for frying
- Ginger and Garlic paste – ½ tsp
- Spring onion – ½ cup (finely chopped)
- Capsicum – 2-3 medium (finely chopped)
- Honey – 2 tsp
- Sesame seeds – 1 ½ tsp
- Black pepper – ½ tsp
- Tomato chilly sauce – 1-2 tsp
- Soya sauce – ½ tsp
- Vinegar – 1 tsp
- Salt according to taste
Peel potatoes and cut them in the shape of finger chips. Take a pan and boil some water in to it. Now add potatoes in boiling water and boil them for 5-6 minutes. Take them out in a strainer and add maida and salt in to it. Mix them well so that maida covers the potatoes well. Potatoes are ready to fry now.
After frying potatoes, in a separate pan heat some oil and add ginger garlic paste in to it. Once it becomes golden brown, add spring onions and capsicum in to it. Stir them in between and add sauces in to it. Now add salt, black pepper and fried potatoes. Once they are mixed properly, add honey, vinegar and mix it well again.
Garnish it with spring onions and sesame seeds. Honey Chilli potato is ready to serve now.
Serving Tip –
Serve honey chilli potato hot as a evening snack with mint chutney and tomato ketchup.
