Hot & Sour Soup

For Hot & Sour Soup

Ingredients –

  1. Carrots – 1 Cup (shredded)
  2. Cabbage – 1 Cup (shredded)
  3. French Beans – ½ Cup (chopped)
  4. Ginger and garlic Paste – ½ tsp
  5. Water / Vegetable Stock – 2 Cups
  6. Corn flour – 2 tsp
  7. Soya Sauce – 2 tsp
  8. Vinegar – 2 tsp
  9. Chilli Sauce – ¼ tsp
  10. Sugar – 1 tsp
  11. Salt – according to need
  12. Pepper – according to need
  13. Spring Onions – 2 tsp (chopped) to garnish
  14. Butter – 2 tsp

Method Hot & Sour Soup –

  1. Heat some butter in a pan and add all the vegetable to it.
  2. Saute them for 4-5 minutes so that they can get cooked but do not overcook as the crunchy and munching state should remain there.
  3. Pour water or vegetable stock and mix it well. Add soya sauce, vinegar, chilli sauce, salt, sugar and pepper to it. Bring it boil and continue to cook for 4-5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, take some water and corn flour to it. Mix it well and pour it to the soup.
  5. Continue to cook the soup until it thickens. Garnish it with chopped spring onions.
  6. Hot & sour soup is ready to serve.

Serving Tip –

Serve soup hot in winters before meals.
