For Jaljeera

Ingredients –

  1. Jeera – 1-1 ½ tsp
  2. Saunf – 1 tsp
  3. Amchur Powder – 1 tsp
  4. Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
  5. Mint Leaves – 1 Cup
  6. Hing – a pinch
  7. Chaat Masala – ½ tsp
  8. Badi Elaichi – optional
  9. Black Pepper – ½ tsp
  10. Black Salt – according to taste
  11. Water – 4-5 Cups
  12. Tamarind – 1 tsp (seedless)
  13. Boondi – 1-2 tsp
  14. Crushed Ice – optional

Method –

  1. Wash mint leaves and tamarind properly and drain the water.
  2. Blend Jeera, Saunf, Mint Leaves, Hing, Elaichi, Black Pepper, and Tamarind together in ½ cup of water until it turns smooth.
  3. Now strain the mixture using strainer and add Amchur Powder, Chaat Masala, Lemon Juice and Black Salt to it.
  4. Mix it properly and now add chilled water to it. You can use crushed ice to it as well.
  5. While serving add boondi to it and Jaljeera is ready to serve.

Serving Tip –

Serve Jaljeera chilled during Summers for better digestion.
