Sweet Corn Soup

For Sweet Corn Soup

Ingredients –

  1. Sweet Corn – 1 Cup
  2. Butter – 1 tsp
  3. Onion – 1 medium (chopped)
  4. Garlic – 1 ½ tsp (minced)
  5. Vegetable Stock – 2 cup
  6. Warm Milk – ½ cup
  7. Corn flour -1 tsp
  8. Salt – according to taste
  9. Black pepper – according to taste
  10. Cream – 1 tsp
  11. Coriander / Celery – 2-3 tsp (chopped)
  12. Water – according to need

Method –

  1. Boil the sweet corns in a pan until it get cooked properly. Drain the water and blend the corns by adding some water to it in to smooth paste leaving 2-3 tsp of corns aside.
  2. Heat some butter in a separate pan and add garlic and onions to it. Saute it until it get cooked properly.
  3. Add blended paste of corns, celery, milk and vegetable stock to it. Bring the soup to boil.
  4. On the other side, mix corn flour with 2 tsp of water and add it to the soup mixture.
  5. Continue to boil the soup until it become bit thicker.
  6. Garnish the soup with the corns kept aside and cream to make it creamier
  7. Sweet Corn Soup is ready to serve.

Serving Tip –

Enjoy Sweet corn soup in winters before meals.
